WarehouseJobs.com is a job board that connects warehouse and logistics workers with employers across the United States. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain English on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us at support@warehousejobs.com.
The short version: we collect what we need to run a job board, we share your application with the employer you apply to, and we don't sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — Your name, email address, and password when you create an account. Passwords are stored in encrypted form; we can't read them.
- Job seeker profile and applications — Your work history, certifications, resume, answers to an employer's screening questions, saved jobs, and interview scheduling choices. You control what goes in your profile.
- Job alert preferences — The roles, shifts, and locations you want to hear about, so we can email you matching openings.
- Employer information — Company name and details, job postings, hiring contact information, and billing details for paid postings.
- Messages you send us — Anything you include when you contact support.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — Pages viewed, searches run, device and browser type, IP address, and general location. We use Google Analytics to measure site and advertising performance.
- Cookies — Small files that keep you signed in and help us understand how the site is used. You can limit cookies in your browser settings, though signing in requires them.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card number goes directly to Stripe — we never see or store it. We keep records of what was purchased and the receipt.
How we use your information
- To run the job board — Show job postings, deliver your applications to employers, track application status, schedule interviews, and let employers manage their listings and applicants.
- To send you email you'd expect — Account confirmations, application updates, job alerts you signed up for, and applicant notifications for employers. Every alert and marketing email has an unsubscribe link; account and receipt emails don't, because you need those.
- To improve the site — Understand which pages work, fix what breaks, and measure performance with Google Analytics.
- To power optional AI features — When an employer uses "Write with AI" to draft a job description, the job details they enter are processed by an AI service to generate the text. We don't use your resume or applications to train AI models.
- To keep the platform safe — Prevent fraud and spam, enforce our rules, and meet legal obligations.
When we share information
- With employers, when you apply — This is the point of the site. Your application — resume, profile details, and screening answers — goes to the employer whose job you applied to. Your profile is not public and is not searchable by employers you haven't applied to.
- With job seekers and the public — Employer job postings and company pages are public. That's also the point of the site.
- With service providers — Companies that help us operate: Supabase (hosting, accounts, and database), Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (usage measurement), our email delivery provider, and our AI provider for the description writer. Each gets only what it needs to do its job.
- When the law requires it — If we get a valid legal request, or if sharing is needed to protect users or the platform.
- If the business changes hands — If WarehouseJobs.com is acquired or merged, your information transfers with it, under this policy's protections.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own advertising. Ads on WarehouseJobs.com are employer job promotions we place ourselves.
Your choices
- Edit or delete — Update your profile, resume, and alerts anytime from your dashboard. To delete your account and its data, email support@warehousejobs.com.
- Unsubscribe — Every job alert and marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- Applications you've sent — Deleting your account removes your data from our systems, but employers keep copies of applications you already sent them, the same as if you'd emailed a resume directly.
- Analytics — You can block Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Your state privacy rights
If you live in California or another state with a consumer privacy law (including Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, and Virginia), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, receive a copy of it, correct it, delete it, and not face discrimination for exercising those rights. Since we don't sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there's nothing to opt out of on that front.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@warehousejobs.com with the subject "Privacy request." We'll verify the request came from you (usually by confirming through the email on your account) and respond within the time your state's law requires — typically 45 days. You can also have an authorized agent submit a request on your behalf.
How long we keep information
We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within 30 days, except records we're required to keep longer — like payment records for tax purposes — and copies employers already received through your applications.
Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, encrypted password storage, and database access rules that keep each user's private data private. No website can promise perfect security, but if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we'll notify you as the law requires.
Children
WarehouseJobs.com is not directed to anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. Most jobs posted here require applicants to be 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or a notice on the site. Continuing to use WarehouseJobs.com after a change means you accept the updated policy.
