Job Description
Employer: Penske Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers • Earn $26 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours • $1.50 shift differential (14:00 to 02:00) • Monthly safety bonus • Boot allowance • Home daily • Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral You will drive: • 53' trailers • Automatic yard trucks • Equipment designed for safe and efficient yard operations • Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks • Best-in-class specs designed for comfort • Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all What you will do: • Drop and hook/live loads of manufacturing components • Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management • Couple and uncouple trailers • Complete pre- and post-trip inspections of tractors and equipment • Escalate equipment repair needs in a timely manner • Maintain positive relationships with the customer and dispatch • Perform approximately 40 moves per day Schedule: • Sunday: 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM • Tuesday through Thursday: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM • Approximately 42 hours per week • Some Saturday work may be required based on customer production needs • Driver may be asked to flex their shift +/- 2 hours based on customer needs Comprehensive benefits package includes: • 8 paid holidays and two personal days in addition to standard Penske Holiday and PTO offerings • Monthly safety bonus of $250 • Paid vacation and holidays • Generous retirement benefits • Excellent health care coverage—medical, dental, and vision • Short- and long-term disability; life and AD&D insurance • Company-provided uniforms • Employee discount benefit program • Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral • Safety incentive program • Premier Driver Recognition Program Our excellent benefits plan keeps associates and their families happy, healthy, and secure. Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid Class A CDL and have at least one to two years of documented tractor-trailer experience. Applicants are required to pass a background investigation, drug screening, and maintain a clean driving record as per DOT regulations.
