Job Description
Employer: Agcor Steel Overview: As a Wood Truss Loader, your top priority will be to accurately and efficiently load wood trusses for customer deliveries. Essential Functions: Promote and drive safety-first culture, ensuring the safety of employees, drivers, and customers. Operating a forklift and larger lift to load wood trusses on trucks and trailers. Promote and maintain cleanliness of the loading area. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills/Experience Requirements: Ability to Properly utilize and maintain all personal protective equipment (PPE) Read, write and communicate with employees, drivers, and contractors effectively and professionally. Operate forklift and other larger type lifts. Maintain a dependable attendance record. Receive instruction and follow directions, including technical and multi-step instructions. Work independently as well as in a team. Work safely, remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Preferred attributes High school diploma or GED Previous forklift and/or other type loading equipment experience Physical Requirements: Sitting for long periods of time Routine lifting up to 50 lbs (occasional lifting up to 80 lbs) Frequent to occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, climbing, bending and twisting
