Job Responsibilities: • Complies with all safety requirements • Place securement binders, chains, straps, bunks and slip mats • Loads and unloads trailers • Move materials within the warehouse • Keep yard and equipment tidy • Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system • Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling) • Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs • Uses computer to enter records • Maintains inventory records • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor • Must be willing to work outdoors (majority of the work is outdoors) About Penske Logistics Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing and supply chain management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. Requirements
Candidates should have proficient reading skills, the ability to follow directions, and the physical capacity to lift up to 100lbs. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and the role requires working outdoors in non-climate-controlled conditions.
