This dynamic role combines hands-on warehouse operations with the opportunity to mentor and support program beneficiaries in their work therapy development. You'll help maintain an organized warehouse while making a meaningful impact in people's lives. What You’ll Do Warehouse Operations * Load, unload, and move products to correct departments * Price merchandise according to guidelines * Track production numbers and complete reports * Maintain organized work areas and clean environment * Operate warehouse equipment as trained * Follow safety protocols and procedures Donation Processing * Assist donors with donation drop-offs * Complete donation receipts accurately * Collect and track donor information * Process various types of donations including: * Clothing and accessories * Household items * Electronics * Furniture and antiques * Jewelry and collectibles Equipment Operation May be trained to operate: * Baler * Compactor * Forklift * Elevator * Other warehouse equipment Training Provided * Paid training on processing standards and warehouse procedures * Ongoing coaching and support from Warehouse leadership * Opportunity to build retail and customer service skills Why Join Us * Mission-driven work that supports programs in your community * On-the-job training * Team-oriented environment * Employee Discount, Employee Assistance Program, and more! Qualifications Qualification- Required Education & Experience * High School Diploma preferred * Must read, write, and speak English proficiently * Warehouse experience beneficial Skills & Abilities * Strong attention to detail * Basic math and reporting skills * Good manual dexterity * Excellent communication abilities * Team-oriented mindset Physical Requirements * Regular lifting up to 50 pounds. * Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds * Extended standing and walking * Frequent bending and reaching * Clear vision and depth perception * Ability to operate equipment safely Work Environment * Warehouse/store backroom setting * Low to moderate noise level * Temperature variations possible The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements
