Job Description
Employer: Craft Massachusetts Title: Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator Location: Everett, MA Status: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:30am - 6pm [ 30 minute unpaid lunch break built in ] Compensation: Starting Pay Rate: $22.00/hr; Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00/hr Objective: The Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving, replenishing, cleaning up, and stripping down retail trucks and performing other general warehouse duties as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Strip down retail trucks Monday through Friday * remove all products and materials from trailers * sweep trailers * dispose of products in warehouse in accordance with trash and recycling policies * organize empty kegs for redemption to suppliers * Replenish * Receive * Stock warehouse in an efficient manner ensuring proper stock rotation and location accuracy * Clean Up * Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or safety hazards to the Assistant Operations Manager * Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements * Collaborate with team members and operations management to meet daily operational goals * Stay current with required safety training * Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements: * Must be available to work the schedule 9:30am - 6:00pm Monday through Friday * 1 year warehouse forklift experience required, 2 or more years preferred * Forklift certification required * Basic computer skills for inventory and order tracking systems * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment * Flexibility with schedule required * High school diploma or equivalent required Core Competencies: * Accuracy and attention to detail * Time management and organizational skills * Safety awareness and compliance * Communication and teamwork * Adaptability in a fast-paced environment Physical Demands and Work Environment: * Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, pallet jack, hand truck * Climbing stairs and inclined surfaces on an occasional basis * Walking and standing on hard surfaces on a frequent basis * Two handed lifting of up to 2 cases of beer [55lbs] from floor to shoulder height on a frequent basis * Occasional exposure to temperatures ranging from 0 - 105 F on a seasonal basis * Repetitive manual handling of half barrels [165lbs each] , quarter barrels [ 90lbs each], and cases of beer [ 27lbs each ] EEO Statement Craft Massachusetts, a division within Sheehan Family Companies, is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements
Candidates must have at least one year of forklift experience and hold a valid forklift certification. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 55lbs.
