Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.Job Duties and Responsibilities · Inventory Control Activities in partnership with warehouse staff including: · Complete material picks – Inventory · Complete material picks – Pretest · Complete material picks – Test Fixtures · Material move to staging areas · Material moves into Inventory, Pretest, Test Fixtures · Inventory Cycle Counting · Participation in material consolidation · 5S – Daily Clean-up · Participation in Systems Improvement Initiatives Secondary Job Responsibilities: · Driving Warehouse Truck · Purchased Receiving Activities · Loading and unloading of trucks · Movement of warrantee material to staging areas · Review and sorting of FEDEX/UPS Shipments Education and Qualifications · Ability to Drive a Fork lift · Parts Counting Capability · Counting Scale Operation · Writing of Part Numbers and quantities · Ability to lift a minimum of 45 lbs. · Demonstrated experience with “getting things done” and “attention to detail” · Strong communication skillsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class. Requirements
Candidates must be able to operate a forklift and perform manual tasks such as lifting at least 45 lbs. Strong attention to detail, basic counting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively are required for this position.
