This isn't a title on paper: what you do here directly affects whether the right part is on the shelf when a customer or tech needs it. You'll lead a small, hands-on team (3–4 people), and you'll be the person who makes sure purchase orders are received, checked, and posted correctly the first time — and who can teach the rest of the team to do the same. What You'll Do Receive incoming purchase orders, verify shipments against POs, and post receipts accurately into our inventory system Investigate and resolve discrepancies (wrong part, wrong count, wrong PO) before they become inventory or customer problems Lead day-to-day warehouse operations for a small team — set the standard for accuracy, attendance, and pace Train team members on receiving and inventory-posting procedures Flag recurring errors or process gaps to management before they compound What You Need 3+ years of hands-on experience in a parts, automotive, or industrial warehouse Direct, hands-on experience receiving purchase orders and posting/reconciling them in an inventory or ERP system (NAPA TAMS/PRO, Epicor, or similar systems all count — tell us which ones you've used) Comfortable using a computer system daily for real work — not just familiar with a phone or tablet Able to commit to reliable, in-person, on-time attendance — this role sets the tone for the whole warehouse Prior experience where inventory mistakes had real consequences (a shop couldn't get a part, a customer order was wrong, etc.) strongly preferred — we want someone who already understands why accuracy matters, not someone learning it for the first time on our shelf Nice To Have Prior experience training or directing coworkers, even informally Automotive parts knowledge (NAPA or similar aftermarket experience)
Requirements
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in an automotive or industrial warehouse environment with proficiency in inventory or ERP systems. Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide reliable, in-person attendance are essential for this role.
