Position Summary All Surfaces is seeking highly motivated, versatile, and results-driven individuals to join our newly formed Warehouse SWAT Team. This is not a traditional warehouse position. The SWAT Team serves as a specialized operations group deployed to address high-priority projects, process improvements, safety initiatives, inventory challenges, facility upgrades, and operational needs across the warehouse. Members of this team are trusted problem-solvers who thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and take ownership of projects that directly impact the success of the business. Branch: All Tile - CCS in Wood Dale, IL Work Schedule: 1st Shift Pay: $23-25/hr depending on experience ---------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities Special Projects * Lead and support warehouse improvement projects. * Assist with warehouse reconfigurations, rack modifications, and layout changes. * Support organizational and housekeeping initiatives. * Help implement operational best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Safety & Compliance * Support warehouse safety inspections and audits. * Assist with OSHA compliance initiatives. * Install and maintain warehouse signage, labels, and safety markings. * Support dock safety improvements, pedestrian pathway projects, and equipment inspections. Inventory & Asset Management * Assist with cycle counting and inventory investigations. * Identify obsolete, damaged, or slow-moving inventory. * Support inventory clean-up and asset recovery projects. * Participate in process improvements designed to improve inventory accuracy. Operations Support * Provide support where operational needs are greatest. * Assist Receiving, Shipping, Picking, Inventory Control, and Quality Control teams as needed. * Troubleshoot operational issues and help develop long-term solutions. * Work independently or as part of a small project team. Continuous Improvement * Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. * Recommend and implement practical solutions. * Participate in training and cross-functional development opportunities. ---------------------------------------- Qualifications Required * High school diploma or GED. * Minimum 2 years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or operations experience. * Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment or willingness to become certified. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to work independently with limited supervision. * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment. Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments. Strong organizational skills, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and the capacity to operate warehouse equipment are required.
