Job Description
Employer: Caesars Entertainment RESPONSIBILITIES * Receives materials from common carriers and suppliers. * Inspects and counts incoming materials, verifies against order for correctness and condition. * Reports any deviations to supervisor. * Store materials in warehouses and obtains proper paper work authorizing storage from other departments of non-inventory assets. * Fills orders and issues supplies upon receipt of approved requisition request. * Delivers materials to user departments. * Verifies correctness of orders with receiving departments and obtains authorized signature on warehouse transfer receipt. * Assists in taking inventory of all materials, obtains required signatures on receipts and bills of lading and maintains required reports and records. * Adheres to internal submissions as they apply to warehouse operations per the Illinois Gaming Board. * Protects Company assets as they apply to off-site warehouse storage. * Makes special mail deliveries and pick-ups as assigned. * Operates company vehicle and material handling equipment in a safe manner, as assigned. * Keeps warehouse buildings and material handling equipment in a safe manner as assigned. * Keeps warehouse buildings and grounds clean and orderly. * Uses extreme care in handling, issuing, storing, retrieving and disposing of stored files. * Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same. * Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures. * Completes all other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Previous warehouse experience preferred. * Operator of a valid Illinois driver's license. * Six months warehouse experience preferred. * Physically able to lift, climb, walk as described on checklist of physical and mental demands. * Good mathematical and clerical aptitude for accurate record keeping. * Able to operate trucks with manual transmission. * Certified in forklift operations a benefit. * Excellent customer service skills a must. Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands * Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs. frequently. * Position requires 80% standing, 5% sitting, 15% walking. * Requires frequent bending, pushing, twisting, kneeling, climbing, and stooping. * Requires reaching overhead very frequently. * Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke. * Must be able to respond to touch, speech, visual and aural cues. * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant internal customer contact. Compensation & Benefits: * Earn between $20.00/hr. * Employment Type – Full-time * Shift Details: * Swing Shift: 6:00 am - 3:30 pm * Please note that the schedule may vary based on the operational requirements of the business, so flexibility is essential.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Illinois driver's license. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, along with the physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate manual transmission vehicles.
