Warehouse Operator – Production & Fulfillment Company: Brown Sugar Babe Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour Locations: Norcross, GA | Dacula, GA Work Location: On-site Engagement Overview Brown Sugar Babe, a fast-growing luxury fragrance company, is seeking experienced and dependable Warehouse Operators to support our production and fulfillment operations at our Norcross and Dacula facilities. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, production, order fulfillment, or distribution who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments. Our warehouse operations support the complete fragrance production and fulfillment process, including preparing fragrance products, operating filling and labeling equipment, packaging finished goods, managing inventory, and processing customer orders for shipment. Selected contractors may support production or fulfillment operations based on their experience, qualifications, and operational needs. Scope of Services Services may include, but are not limited to, the following: Production & Manufacturing Preparing fragrance products, bottles, components, and materials for production. Operating liquid and bottle-filling equipment. Operating automated and manual labeling machines. Filling, capping, labeling, and packaging fragrance products according to product specifications. Assembling packaging components and preparing finished products. Inspecting products for accuracy, consistency, labeling, and packaging quality. Supporting equipment changeovers and replenishing production materials. Identifying and communicating product, equipment, or quality concerns. Warehouse Fulfillment & Shipping Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Verifying product quantities, order accuracy, and packaging requirements. Generating and applying shipping labels. Sorting, organizing, and staging completed orders for carrier pickup. Receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming inventory. Stocking and replenishing products and warehouse supplies. Supporting inventory counts, tracking, and reconciliation. Operating barcode scanners, shipping platforms, and warehouse management systems. General Warehouse Operations Handling products, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently. Maintaining organized, clean, and safe warehouse work areas. Identifying and communicating inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or operational concerns. Supporting high-volume production and fulfillment demands while maintaining accuracy and quality. Completing accepted services efficiently and in accordance with applicable operational requirements. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, production, manufacturing, assembly, distribution, or fulfillment. Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: production equipment, product assembly, labeling, order picking, packing, shipping, or inventory handling. Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and order accuracy. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical activities for extended periods. Ability to follow applicable safety procedures, product specifications, and operational requirements. Reliable transportation to the designated service location. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating automated filling, labeling, or packaging equipment. Experience in fragrance, cosmetics, beauty, or consumer goods production. Experience in high-volume e-commerce fulfillment or distribution. Familiarity with barcode scanners, shipping platforms, or warehouse management systems. Experience with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and quality control. Previous warehouse leadership, training, or team lead experience. Service Locations & Availability Norcross, Georgia – Fulfillment Operations Services generally available Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Dacula, Georgia – Production Operations Services generally available within the facility's operating window of 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Applicants will be considered for opportunities at either location based on relevant experience, qualifications, availability, and operational needs. Independent Contractor Engagement This opportunity is structured as a 1099 independent contractor engagement. Selected contractors will provide services pursuant to an Independent Contractor Service Agreement outlining the applicable scope of services, service expectations, confidentiality requirements, compensation, and other engagement terms.
Requirements
Warehouse Operator – Production & Fulfillment Job Tasks Operate bottle-filling machines to fill fragrance oils into designated bottles and containers. Operate automated and manual labeling machines. Assemble, cap, label, and package fragrance products. Mix and prepare fragrance oils according to production specifications. Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and packaging defects. Pick and pull products from inventory to fulfill customer orders. Pack customer orders accurately and securely for shipment. Generate, print, and apply shipping labels. Sort and stage completed orders for shipping carrier pickup. Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming inventory. Perform inventory counts, stock replenishment, and inventory tracking. Operate barcode scanners, packaging equipment, and warehouse systems. Load, unload, and move products and warehouse materials as needed. Maintain clean, organized, and safe production and fulfillment areas. Meet production and fulfillment targets while maintaining accuracy and quality.
