Employer: Tomra Company Description Tomra of North America Inc., an International Recycling Company, is looking to hire full time Warehouse Lead in Rotterdam, NY. Pay: $30 Monday-Friday 3:30PM-12:00AM Our warehouse leads play a critical role in meeting our daily business demands. The singular goal of the position is to supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse workers by performing the following duties. Job Description Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment Interprets specifications to workers, and assigns duties Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals Maintains time and production records Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials Oversee in-bound and outbound inventory control Oversee the driver and plant audit process Performs activities of workers supervised Qualifications Must pass pre-employment screening Leadership experience Ability to stand, lift, bend, kneel, twist, for duration of an eight-hour shift Ability to work occasional overtime on weekends to meet business demands Not afraid to work hard and get dirty Basic computer/math skill Forklift experience 3+ years of Leadership experience Additional Information Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision 401k with company match Union environment A variety of career advancement opportunities across multiple locations Generous Paid Time Off, including immediate accrual A positive work environment with a focus on safety and teamwork Come be a leader for the Resource Revolution! #rotsup
Requirements
Candidates must have at least 3 years of leadership experience and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending. Basic computer and math skills, along with forklift experience, are required for this role.
