Job Description

Employer: Hanes Companies Hanes Geo Components (HGC), a division of Leggett & Platt (NYSE: LEG), is a national supplier of geotextiles, erosion control products, and construction site soil stabilization materials. Our company location in Midland, TX is seeking a Warehouse Lead, QUALIFICATIONS: • Able to operate office equipment. • Able to operate lift trucks. • Forklift Certified. • Experience with shipping, receiving, and bar-coded inventory using an RF Scanner. • Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others. • Good communication skills (verbal & written). • Must be able to follow verbal & written instructions. • Commitment to Management System and continual improvement process. PRIMARY DUTIES: The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following: • All employees have the responsibility to identify and stop further processing of non-conformances related to products, processes, or the quality system. • All employees must take action to prevent nonconformities related to the product produced, service provided, or the Management system. • All employees have the responsibility to bring forth suggestions for improvement and verify the implementation of solutions. • Manage warehouse inventory through accurate shipping/receiving and weekly cycle counts. • Count incoming inventory for accuracy and creating inventory tickets. • Load/unload trucks. • Lead/assign warehouse staff in daily tasks and ensure they stay on task. • Prepare and complete all shipping documents. • Keep warehouse organized and clean. • Scheduling carriers to pick up freight. • Ensure every piece of freight is accounted for and tagged. • Ensure all freight is located in its proper place. • Utilize warehouse space correctly. • Ability to lift 50+ pounds. • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace. • Participate in the continuous quality process. • Conform to all quality/safety requirements and procedures. • Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor. Requirements

Candidates must be forklift certified and experienced in shipping, receiving, and using RF scanners for inventory management. The role requires the ability to lift 50+ pounds and possess strong communication skills to work effectively with a team.
