Job Description
Employer: Robar Enterprises DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Transport steel materials from one location to another using a flatbed truck. * Inspect the vehicle for mechanical issues and safety concerns. * Secure the load with straps, chains, and tarps to prevent damage during transit. * Deliver the cargo on time and in good condition. * Maintain accurate records of the trip, including fuel consumption, mileage, and hours of service. * Follow all traffic laws and regulations- safety is priority! * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers. * Travel multiple days per week from the home base in Fort Mohave, AZ to Utah for work assignments, which may include overnight stays. QUALIFICATIONS: * Class A license * Clean driving record * Ability to operate a flatbed truck with ease. * Ability to work solo or in a team. * Exceptional customer service skills * Ability to work with limited supervision. * Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * A high school diploma or equivalent PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Sitting for prolonged periods * Standing for prolonged periods * Bending/Stooping * Squatting * Lifting up to 100 pounds * Stretching * Twisting * Pushing/Pulling
Requirements
