Employer: CXI Trucking CXI Trucking 2057 George Street Melrose Park, IL 60160 Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Starting Pay: $21.50/hour Position: Warehouse Dockworker CXI Trucking, an LTL (Less-than-Truckload) trucking and warehousing company in Melrose Park, IL, is seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Dockworker to join our team. This role focuses on receiving, counting, and reloading industrial freight using sit-down propane forklifts and high reach lifts in a cross-dock and warehouse environment. Responsibilities Receive freight shipments into the cross-dock and warehouse. Maintain accurate inventory records, including descriptions, quantities, and locations. Load and unload trucks/trailers with customer shipments, materials, and equipment. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and accountability. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent work experience in LTL trucking/warehouse operations. Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more safely. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Current certification to operate sit-down propane forklift and high-reach lift (required). Valid driver's license. Compensation & Benefits Weekly pay via direct deposit. Health benefits (medical, dental, vision, ancillary) after 90-day probationary period. Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience in LTL trucking and warehouse operations. A valid driver's license and current certification for sit-down propane forklifts and high-reach lifts are required.
