Job Description
Employer: Snow Peak USA, Inc. Purpose The Warehouse Direct Fulfillment Lead expedites outgoing orders, routes incoming shipments, and maintains the general organization of the warehouse. This position supports day to day operations, leads the warehouse team, and processes product returns to receive a refund, replacement, or repair during the product's warranty period. Classification FLSA: Nonexempt Status: Full Time, Benefit Eligible Compensation Type: Hourly Reports To: Warehouse Manager Schedule: 8am-4:30pm, M-F, some holidays and overtime may be requested Essential Duties Shipping and Receiving Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits Provide excellent customer service via phone and email Research, analyze, and respond to routine and complex order status inquiries Repackage inventory Support Warehouse Operations Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse Communicate with internal teams and upper management, relaying special order requests, customer concerns, product issues, or opportunities to the proper team member Ensure that health, safety, and security rules are followed Lead Warehouse Team Act as a liaison between warehouse associates and warehouse leadership to create a fun and collaborative work environment Function as Manager on Duty (MOD) when other managers are not present Support the recruitment, onboarding, training and development of the warehouse team Suggest and organize team building activities Contribute to a positive working environment by being, approachable, respectful, responsible, and team oriented Performs other related duties and projects as assigned Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience 2 years working in a logistics environment Experience leading a team Skills Extraordinary customer service Excellent problem-solving skills Basic mathematics and financial knowledge Basic knowledge of operating computers, POS systems, and various software packages including MS office Abilities Reliable and professional Approach solving problems creatively and strategically Friendly and engaging with all types of people Gracefully adapt to periodic and rapid change Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate others Physical Effort Extensive standing, lifting, walking Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse Must be able to lift 50 pounds All of our employees enjoy paid time off for qualifying sick leave and are also eligible for wilderness first aid certification, annual company retreat and/or camping trip, public transportation assistance, bike commuting allowance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Snow Peak gear package, access to third-party outdoor gear discounts, and generous discounts on Snow Peak gear and apparel. Requirements
