Employer: Small, Growing 3PL Benefits: 401(k) Competitive salary Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Training & development Vision insurance We are local and growing 3PL seeking a hybrid employee that has a Class A (CDLA) and is open to working in the Warehouse. This associate will be driving a tractor-trailer and delivering freight (dock to dock) to local customers (generally 75 mile radius). There are NO Overnights. This associate will also support the Warehouse - unloading, putting away, and picking freight when not delivering. Forklift experience or certification is a plus. We expect the ideal candidate to have a clean commercial driver's license, a good driving record, and have experience in trucking. The remaining time will be delivering roughly half of their time making deliveries and ot / Warehouse Associate to operate commercial vehicles for transporting goods safely and efficiently within central PA. There is NO overnights. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license, good driving record, and experience trucking. This role involves ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety, and adhering to all transportation regulations. Responsibilities: · Safely operate and maintain commercial trucks in accordance with company policies and federal regulations. · Transport freight over local routes, ensuring timely deliveries. · Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify any mechanical issues. · Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation. · Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues. · Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or violations. · Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed. Qualifications: · Valid CDL A license with clean driving record. · Proven experience as a commercial truck driver preferred. · Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. · Experience working in a warehouse. · Experience operating forklift preferred. · Strong organizational and time management skills. · Ability to work independently and handle physical demands of the job. · Good communication skills.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license with a clean driving record and prior trucking experience. Familiarity with warehouse operations and forklift certification is preferred.
