The Opportunity This position works out of our Avon IN, location in the CRM Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats. Main Purpose of Role The primary function of this job is to oversee and coordinate daily activities within Distribution Operations for both Abbott nonexempt and contract personnel to ensure compliance with Quality, Regulatory, Corporate and Departmental Guidelines, Training and Performance objectives. Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse. Main Responsibilities Receive incoming goods. Check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. Accurately sort, label, and store goods. Arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records. Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.). Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organization’s established procedures. These activities may include answering telephones, updating stock cards and inventory records, and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms. Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery Coordinate new hire onboarding by scheduling orientations, preparing training materials, and ensuring a smooth first-day experience Plan and execute site engagement events (e.g., safety celebrations, recognition programs, team-building activities) to boost morale Serve as a point of contact for employees by supporting communication between associates and leadership Track and manage employee engagement metrics and feedback, helping identify opportunities to improve workplace culture Organize recognition and appreciation initiatives (birthdays, milestones, performance highlights) to maintain a positive environment Partner with site leadership to ensure consistent onboarding processes and event execution, aligning with site goals and compliance standards QUALIFICATIONS Education Technical Diploma (± 12 years) Experience Minimum 2 years years equivalent work experience in Logistics, Transportation, Distribution or Warehousing or planning. The base pay for this position is $22.50 – $45.00 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a technical diploma and at least two years of equivalent work experience in logistics, distribution, or warehousing. Proficiency in warehouse machinery operation and strong organizational skills are required.
