Essential Functions * Assists in shipping and receiving department * Assists machine operators * Operates forklift to load and unload material * Operates overhead crane to load and unload material * Assembles wooden skids and assists in the banding of material * Packages and/or kits parts * Finishes parts by hand grinding or use of deburring machine * Measures material or parts based on customer specifications * Keep work area clean and maintained throughout shift Compentencies * Skilled at basic measuring tools * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to pay strong attention to detail and follow directions * Knowledge of power tools and machinery is a plus Why Work for Olympic Steel Olympic Steel offers comprehensive benefits, including: * Medical, dental, and vision benefits * Paid holidays and vacation * 401(k) with employer match * Tuition reimbursement & Employee Discount Programs * Referral program
Requirements
Candidates should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of power tools and machinery is considered a plus for this role.
