Job Description
Employer: Listen Up Inc Role Summary: The Warehouse Associate position reports to the Warehouse Manager, and is responsible for supporting all activities in the Warehouse and Logistics department. Examples of likely tasks are supporting the delivery and fulfillment teams, putting away inventory, securely loading trucks and more. This role requires a positive attitude and working well as a team. This is a physical role that requires a high level of energy. The responsibilities listed are not all inclusive and are subject to change. Responsibilities: * Receiving and unloading inventory. * Stocking and consolidating inventory. * Taking physical inventory counts. * Pulling orders for delivery and shipping using an inventory management system, while checking inventory levels for accuracy. * Loading outbound delivery orders. * Delivering stock to our retail stores. * Assisting with customer deliveries. * Inspecting, testing, cleaning and rating returns and trade-ins. * Boxing and shipping outbound small parcel orders. * Preparing pallets for outbound shipping. * Emptying the trash. * Breaking down and recycling boxes. * Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. * Taking pallets and styrofoam to a recycle plant. * Answering phone calls and customer will-calls. * Any other reasonable request made by the Warehouse Manager. Criteria Required Skills: * Team mentality * Attention to detail * Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment * Ability to learn and have an open minded approach to new concepts and procedures * Great communication, both spoken and written * Excellent computer and contemporary business software skills Required Experience/Education: * High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Certifications: * Valid driver’s license with clean MVR Note: Must be 21 years or older due to truck driving restrictions. Required Physical: * Lifting up to 50 lbs * Carrying up to 50 lbs * Standing, 8+ hours a day * Walking, 8+ hours a day * Driving, occasionally
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record. The role requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for 8+ hours daily.
