In this role, your primary responsibility will be efficiently building, staging, and loading consolidation containers for shipment. You will maximize space, ensure load stability, and prevent product damage. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in precise, high-quality work, we want you on our team. Load Consolidation: Efficiently sort, stack, and load diverse freight into shipping containers, maximizing space utilization (cube optimization) and ensuring weight distribution complies with safety standards. Cargo Security: Secure loads using bracing, strapping, dunnage, and air bags to prevent shifting and damage during transit. Inventory & Scanning: Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to scan, track, and verify shipping manifests and piece counts against physical cargo. Quality Control: Inspect incoming pallets and packages for defects, labeling errors, or damage before consolidating them into outbound shipments. Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified) to move freight. Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe loading dock and workspace, strictly adhering to OSHA and company safety guidelines. Certified to operate a forklift (Sit-down/Stand-up) or electric pallet jack. Experience using RF scan guns and inventory software. Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities. Requirements
Candidates must be physically fit and capable of operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Experience with RF scan guns and inventory software is required to manage shipping manifests and cargo quality.
