Job Description
Employer: M&K Truck Centers M&K Truck Centers is a premier commercial truck dealership specializing in Mack and Volvo parts. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and quality products to our customers. We are seeking a Warehouse Associate. The purpose of this position is to receive and post retail as well as stock orders. Essential Functions * Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy. * Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes. * Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials. * Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications. * Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter. * Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials. * Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins. * Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. * Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped. * Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, or demurrage charges, using a computer or price list. * Heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) * Other duties as assigned The Ideal Candidate Would: * 1-2 years of experience working in warehousing. * Graduate of High School or have a GED * Prior experience preferred with controlled inventory systems and shipping/receiving. * A valid driver's license with no restrictions and clean driving record. Requirements
Candidates must have 1-2 years of warehousing experience and a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license with a clean record and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.
