Job Description
Employer: J&O Plastics Reporting to the Warehouse Manager our Warehouse Assistants are responsible for the movement of incoming componentry and outgoing finished goods to customers. Our Warehouse Assistants are cross-trained in all aspects of the warehouse. Duties/Responsibilities: • Moving finished skids from Final Quality to wrapper, wrapper to Warehouse • Wrapping all skids for shipment • Check quality of product prior to pulling order. Report poor quality items to management. • Operate a forklift, pallet jack. • Label product for shipment • Participate in the ongoing physical inventory of warehouse items and monitor inventory to maintain adequate supply of items. • Effectively and efficiently handle truck loading and unloading • Maintains warehouse in a clean, orderly manner. • Professional demeanor • Ability to multitask in a customer focused, fast paced environment. • Consistently make good decisions with minimal supervision. • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism. • Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management. • Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to lift 40 lbs • Ability to operate equipment and machinery in a safe manner • Capacity to read and interpret paperwork • Ability to focus on attention to detail and work successfully in a team environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Detail Oriented & Deadline Driven • Basic troubleshooting skills. • Reliability & dependability & consistent positive attitude • Organizing & planning • Ability to multitask • Ability to use electronic scanner accurately • Must have patience • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to remain professional at all times • Basic Math Skills Experience: • At least 1 year experience in a warehouse or factory setting in a warehouse.
Requirements
