Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with MANTECH! ***This is for a future opportunity*** MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-driven Senior Logistics Planner to join our team in Guam. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Authorizes, plans, and coordinates the overarching technical execution of logistics planning studies and validates the accuracy of multidepartmental sustainment models across public and private sector configurations. * Serve as the final authority for investigating enterprise planning discrepancies and approving complex root cause analyses to address strategic distribution gaps. * Formulate long-range logistical policies and establish rigorous performance baselines to optimize organizational readiness metrics. * Authorize and validates the synchronization of theaterwide distribution activities, surface husbandry requirements, and multimodal transit coordination with critical joint, component, and expeditionary command partners. * Lead high-level strategic assessments of theater resource utilization and approve Tactical Maneuver Plans to protect logistics lines of communication in contested settings. * Deliver expert-level briefings and strategic optimization papers to senior leadership to systematically mitigate regional sustainment gaps. * Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education). * Experience in formal logistics oversight and leading technical root cause analysis for sustainment disruptions. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or any higher degree. * Experience with DoW logistics planning tools (e.g., JOPES or SMS). * Knowledge of USSOCOM expeditionary logistics and joint theater distribution systems. * Proficiency in Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD) development and analysis. Clearance Requirement: * Must hold an active Secret clearance. Physical Requirements: * The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. * Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
