Pay Rate Job Description As a Security Officer Identity Verification Warehouse Entry in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service while helping to deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen individuals, packages, and/or belongings in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures, reporting prohibited items or irregularities to appropriate personnel. Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized entry and support the orderly flow of personnel and deliveries. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, and designated operational areas, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
