As a Retail Porter, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup, and performing inventory and quality control. Unit Description Delaware North is the food, beverage, and retail provider at Little Caesars Arena. The 20,000-seat venue opened in 2017 and is home of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and the NBA's Detroit Pistons. We provide a full accompaniment of services, including concessions and premium dining services in a variety of innovative club areas, loge boxes, and suites. Responsibilities Perform transfers of products and merchandise to and from the warehouse using push carts and pallet jacks Receive products and merchandise, check for quality and damage, and ensure proper storage of delivered products and merchandise; perform physical inventory as needed Process requests for supplies, prepare merchandise for delivery, and prepare packages for shipping according to established procedures Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age One year of warehouse experience preferred Basic math and counting skills required Physical Requirements Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout facility; requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during entire length of shift.
Requirements
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess basic math and counting skills. One year of previous warehouse experience is preferred, along with the physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
