Job Description
Employer: M & R Printing CURRENTLY SEEKING A PICKER/PACKER FOR OUR MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN ROSELLE, IL Health, Dental, Vision, and FSA/DCA Benefits begin the 1st of the month following 30 days. 401(k) with company match, vacation, life, and disability insurance benefits are available, as well. Position Overview: This job requires picking & packing parts from the correct location within the Parts Department. The parts are made in our facility and must be picked to the specifics of customer orders on time. This position consists of standing/walking 8 hours a day. Key Responsibilities: * Inspect items to ensure they are not damaged and meet quality standards before packing. * Follow packing instructions and company procedures. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor. * Meet daily packing quotas and deadlines. Experience and Qualifications: * Basic math, reading, and computer skills * Must be a quick learner * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Previous experience in a packing role is a plus. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Must be able to adapt to occasional quick changes in a fast-paced environment * English-speaking; bilingual a plus Physical Demands: * Individual must be able to move, lift, and carry up to 40lb. * Work environment is in the warehouse where exposure to humid, heat, and cold conditions is expected. * Must be willing and able to walk 3-4 miles per shift Shift: 1st We participate in E-Verify.
