Employer: Cal Pacific Truck Center Cal Pacific Truck Center (CPTC) is a commercial truck dealership that sells new and used trucks to private and municipal customers throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties. CPTC provides trucks for long term truck leases and shorter-term rentals to meet the needs of customers of all sizes and applications. In addition to selling and leasing equipment, Cal Pacific Truck Center provides full-service repair and parts support through our experienced employees and well-equipped facilities. We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities * Pick up and deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes * Follow routes and time schedule * Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle * Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints * Inform customers about new products and services * Perform cleaning, pulling parts, lifting, moving items, etc. to support the warehouse and other departments * Support inventory management activity * Complete logs and reports * Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Skills * Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver * Valid professional driver’s license * Ability to lift/carry parts, up to 50 lbs * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Good driving record with no traffic violations * High school degree Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * 8 hour shift * Day shift Work Days: * Monday to Friday Experience: * delivery: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required)
Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid professional driver's license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. A high school degree is required, along with the physical ability to lift and carry parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
