Employer: BOSTON CENTERLESS LLC What We’re Looking For: We have an exciting opportunity to join a fun, employee-focused environment with a growing manufacturing company. The Packer is an important member of the team and will be responsible for planning, preparing and packing products for shipment from our Woburn, MA facility. Responsibilities range from Construction of boxes and containers to properly selecting materials and packing shipments to ensure a safe arrival to the customer. What You’ll Need To Be Successful: * High School Diploma and 3-5 years in a packing and shipping role * Basic woodworking skills with the ability to measure length using carpenters’ rule * Must be able to push, lift, pull up to 50 pounds * Visual acuity for reading orders, machine dial gauges and precision measuring * A proactive problem solver that can work independently * And most importantly, enjoys coming to work, being part of a team, and getting “stuff” done What You Can Expect (The Day to Day): * Packaging shipments using care to ensure appropriate containers, protective inserts/padding, etc. * Assembling wooden containers using circular, chop and table saws as required * Complete required paperwork and administrative tasks * Ensure safety measures and protocols are followed and contributing to a Continuous Improvement mindset * And most importantly, enjoys coming to work, being part of a team, and getting “stuff” done M-F, 7:00am to 3:30pm
Requirements
Candidates must have a High School Diploma and 3-5 years of experience in a packing and shipping role. Proficiency in basic woodworking, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong visual acuity for precision measuring are required.
