Job Description
Employer: United Dairy Farmers UDF- Blue Ash Distribution Center - $500 Sign on Bonus We are looking for dedicated energetic order selectors working in a refrigerated section (40°F) of UDF’s Blue Ash Distribution Center, utilizing pick tickets and in the near future voice picking technology, to assemble orders of milk , drinks , cheeses and other assorted refrigerated items to be shipped to the retail stores. The Order Selector position supports a fast-paced work environment with safety, accuracy and efficiency being of utmost importance. The Order Selector position will be capable to pick all positions and items associated with commissary and the Blue Ash Operation. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the shift and push carts loaded with products and load trucks. The Order Selector position must be able to support all functions of the commissary department daily, including: * Order picking, Loading / unloading * Restocking picking area * Counting * Tagging routes * Wrapping empty crates * Following sanitation procedures This is a full-time position, 7 day a week operation, Day shift, 6:am - 2:30 pm, Mon - Fri . This individual should have some flexibility to support overtime as needed to complete loads for the day. Bonuses: Sign on Bonus - $500. Paid out after completion of 90 days of employment and a approved review. Perfect Attendance is also required to be eligible for the sign-on bonus. Annual bonus eligibility. Current Weekly Schedule: Day Shift: * Day Shift - 6am – 2:30pm Mon - Fri (subject to change) * Must be flexible * Weekend Work You must be able to walk and be on your feet for most of your shift and tolerate working in both cold and warm temperatures. This position offers competitive pay with comprehensive benefit package available after 90 days. All offers will be contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Requirements
Applicants must be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly and remain on their feet for the duration of the shift. Candidates must be comfortable working in a refrigerated environment and be available for a 7-day-a-week operation.
