SUMMARY: The purpose of a Forklift Operator is to move pallets of meat throughout the plant, shipping and/or warehouse. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible for reading customer’s orders. Inspect trailers for cleanliness and pest control and document results on the load accountability form. Prepare the orders and load them onto the correct trailer using a Forklift. Wand/scan product correctly. Keep loading dock clean. Employee is also responsible for using proper technique and any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
