Employer: Loffredo Fresh Foods Job Title: Night Warehouse Supervisor Location: Madison, WI Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Night Warehouse Supervisor based out of our Madison, WI Headquarters. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 5 locations. Starting at 5 PM and going until the work is complete. This position will report up to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for supervising a group of warehouse employees. Assigning tasks as necessary to ensure that work is complete and proper usage of available resources. This role will assist in shipping/receiving, loading and unloading of trucks, and checking-in merchandise. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse supervisory experience, collaborate effectively and professionally with the team, and will lead by example. Pay: $50k - $60k Dependent on Experience Schedule: * Days Off: Saturday + Alternating Wednesday/Fridays * Start Time: 5 PM What we look for: * High school diploma or GED preferred with 2-4 years of related experience * Previous Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required * Previous warehouse supervisory experience preferred * Must be a self-directed individual with the ability to read and interpret company documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals * Must have the ability to perform basic math calculations * Obtain licensure to operate warehouse equipment within the first 30 days What you’ll do: * SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines * Responsible for maintaining a warehouse that is accessible and safe for company personnel and LFF visitors * Responsible for reading pick tickets and/or requisitions to select and assemble product for customer orders. * Implement established food safety practices throughout all warehouse employees * Required to stand and walk for extended periods, to push/pull, lift/carry, or exert force of up to 75 lbs. or more * May be necessary for this individual to reach above the shoulder, kneel, crawl, bend or stoop frequently. * Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required What you’ll gain as a Loffredo Team Member: * Competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, available 1st of the month following 30 days employment * 401k with company match available following 6 months of employment * Additional voluntary insurance such as basic/supplemental life and disability * Paid time off & Paid holidays * Bi-Weekly Pay or the option to enroll in Daily Pay for immediate access to earned wages * Regular and constructive performance feedback
Requirements
Candidates should have 2-4 years of related experience, including previous warehouse supervisory experience and proficiency with a Warehouse Management System (WMS). A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 lbs is required.
