Job Description
Employer: PNY Technologies Inc This position is based on-site in Parsippany, NJ. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. MAIN FUNCTION: Fill orders accurately using picking documents and/or RF scanners; move products, supplies, and other materials according to established policies and procedures. Operate hi-lo equipment and or pallet jack to effectively and safely move products and materials. Label products with Shipping ASN Labels. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified * Knowledge of warehousing methodology * Ability to multitask and work as part of a team * Proficient with barcode scanning equipment * Forklift certification DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Store and retrieve product from pallet racks and other storage devices according to procedures established by PNY. * Accurate and timely fulfillment of work orders and sales orders. * Perform inventory cycle counts and material transfers, as needed. * Compliance with PNY’s procedures and guidelines in order to minimize inventory discrepancies. * Safely operate forklifts and pallet jack equipment. * Maintain a clean work area on an ongoing basis. * Stretch-wrap shipping products or stock materials onto racking. * Load or unload trucks and trailers
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of relevant experience. A forklift certification and proficiency with barcode scanning equipment are required.
