Job Description

Employer: Surge Staffing Material Handler / Telehandler Operator We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler / Telehandler Operator to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role is primarily responsible for operating a telehandler to move materials, maintain efficient workflow, and assist with basic quality checks. Key Responsibilities Operate a telehandler to move, load, and position materials safely and efficiently Transport materials between production, storage, and shipping areas Load and unload trucks while ensuring accuracy and safety Maintain proper material flow and organization throughout the facility Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs Assist with basic quality checks and visual inspections of materials Identify and separate damaged or non-conforming materials Support inventory tracking and documentation as needed Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment Experience operating heavy equipment such as a telehandler, forklift, or similar machinery Ability to safely handle and transport materials in a fast-paced setting Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection processes Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Reliable attendance and strong work ethic IND2

Requirements

Candidates must have 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or industrial setting with proficiency in operating heavy machinery like telehandlers or forklifts. The role requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.
