Job Description
Employer: Demco Mfg Description Department: Inventory Control Summary: To maintain proper material flow throughout designated departments in Demco’s manufacturing plant. Follows policies and procedures put in place as well as any modifications while always being aware to preserving the product’s integrity and quality. Primary Duties: To have safe work habits and to follow safety procedures Able to comprehend shop orders Conscientious of following procedures To mentor and train other employees Use a forklift for inventory control and know the correct procedures to operate it To complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis To work as a team and be self motivated to work independently To actively be looking for new and improved ways to do things Work with others to solve problems Position descriptions are intended to define in general terms the most significant duties of a particular position and are not all inclusive of all duties or responsibilities of individual positions. Requirements Qualifications / Experience: Demco licensed forklift operator Must be safety minded Organizational and time management skills Requires attention to detail and a high standard of quality Must comply to ISO 9001 required policies Must be a team player who can work effectively in a team environment Good interpersonal, verbal communication and active listening skills Willingness and ability to learn and perform other jobs Knowledge and understanding of the function of their department
Requirements
Candidates must be licensed forklift operators with strong organizational and time management skills. A high standard of quality and the ability to comply with ISO 9001 policies are required for this position.
