Job Description
Employer: Pella Windows & Doors DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: * Pull and stage orders from inventory, including large and heavy products such as windows and related materials * Manually lift, carry, and move heavy and oversized items throughout the warehouse and loading areas * Load trucks and trailers with product, ensuring all items are secure and properly positioned for transport * Handle physical inventory movement, including stocking, restocking, and organizing materials in designated areas * Verify all pulled orders match required manifests before loading to ensure accuracy * Perform a full ‘360 Walk Around’ to ensure loads are balanced, stable, and safely secured for delivery * Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed for moving heavy products * Complete equipment pre-checks for forklifts, trailers, and company vehicles before use * Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment to support safe operations * Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and required PPE at all times * Work closely with team members to complete physically demanding tasks efficiently and safely * Perform additional warehouse duties as needed, including continuous movement of inventory and materials * Work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed to meet operational demands
Requirements
Candidates must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and moving oversized items. Proficiency in operating forklifts and a commitment to following all safety procedures and PPE requirements are essential.
