You will work with department managers, staff, vendors, carriers, and multiple locations to ensure orders are processed correctly and departments have the supplies they need to serve our patients and community. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, inventory tracking, vendor communication, and keeping things moving. You will help create efficient systems, maintain accurate records, monitor centrally managed supplies, and ensure our receiving and storage areas are organized, clean, and ready to support daily operations. Some departments manage their own inventory and submit their own supply requests and orders. In those situations, you will serve as the logistics connection—receiving and processing deliveries, tracking shipments, communicating arrival information, and coordinating distribution without taking over departmental inventory responsibilities. Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding orders, lead times, delays, discrepancies, and fulfillment concerns. Verify quantities and items against applicable purchasing and receiving documentation and identify shortages, damaged goods, or incorrect shipments. Notify departments when orders arrive and coordinate timely pickup, delivery, or distribution. Maintain inventory records and monitor supply levels for centrally managed supplies. Coordinate movement and distribution of supplies between QCH and QWC locations as needed. Prepare, package, label, and coordinate outgoing shipments, returns, replacements, and other materials. Track incoming and outgoing shipments and resolve shipping or delivery concerns with vendors and carriers. Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, inventory, shipping, and invoice-related records. Develop and maintain organized tracking tools, logs, spreadsheets, and documentation. Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, inventory accuracy, turnaround times, and cost-effective shipping practices. Keep central receiving, storage, and distribution areas clean, organized, clearly identified, and appropriately stocked. Support continuity of operations by anticipating logistics needs and promptly addressing issues that could affect departmental readiness. Work collaboratively across departments while providing professional and courteous service to employees, vendors, delivery personnel, and others. This position supports the important work of both organizations and requires someone who takes pride in being organized, following through, solving problems, and making sure the right supplies reach the right place at the right time. We are looking for a candidate who is organized, reliable, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Qualifications: Required: High School diploma or GED equivalent. 3–5 years of experience in logistics, purchasing, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and materials distribution. Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to process orders accurately, monitor supply levels, track shipments, and maintain appropriate documentation. Ability to receive, inspect, sort, label, store, and distribute supplies and materials. Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve order, shipment, and delivery discrepancies. Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and meet established deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow organizational policies and procedures in a healthcare environment. Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and organize supplies, packages, and materials as required by the position. Valid Washington State Driver's License and ability to remain insurable through the organization, as required for travel between QCH and QWC locations and other assigned business-related transportation.
