The Logistics Administrator at The Chef’s Garden is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of high-priority shipments, verification and issuing customer invoices. This role emphasizes coordination with sales, customs, and carriers while managing documentation, compliance, and cost-effectiveness in both domestic and international logistics operations. Key Responsibilities * Analyze logistics operations to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions. * Monitor and track high-priority and overnight shipments; escalate issues as needed. * Maintain accurate shipping records, invoices, and documentation. * Complete daily invoicing accurately and efficiently. * Prepare and verify export documents and shipping labels (air bills, freight bills, commercial invoices etc.). * Ensure compliance with customs regulations and manage international shipping documentation, including familiarity with CARM and incoterms (e.g. DDP) * Serve as a liaison between customs brokers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. * Run and verify delivery, claims and shipping cost reports on a regular basis. * Support internal coordination between logistics and sales by providing tracking information, shipping rate updates and finding cost-effective shipping alternatives. * Operate tow motor equipment (certification required). * Any and all other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications * Valid driver’s license with clean record. * Experience in logistics, warehouse, or shipping/receiving roles. * Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Adobe PDF). * Tow motor certification (or willingness to obtain). * Ability to lift 50 lbs and be active throughout shift. * High level of attention to detail and accuracy. * Willingness and ability to learn new processes, systems, and procedures. * Strong accountability, urgency, and adaptability. Requirements
Candidates must have experience in logistics or shipping roles and possess basic computer skills including Excel and Word. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain tow motor certification are required, along with the physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
