Employer: Penske Position Summary: Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. Provides support and some supervision to regular and temporary warehouse associate functions. Works closely with Operations Supervisors to ensure employee productivity expectations are met. Provides a variety of responsibilities to meet the supervisors expectations. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM OT as business needs Compensation: $23.34 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential totaling $24.34 per hour Major Responsibilities: Job requirements may include the following where applicable: • Stage and sort products for loading • Loads and unloads trailers • Executes & provides process & project visibility to Operations Supervisor • Leads & complies with Safety and Well Being efforts on assigned shift • Maintain accurate inventory levels with routine process observations and audits • Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system • Quality control • Complete daily logs • Communicate with associates from other shifts • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line • Uses computer to enter records • Maintains inventory records • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable) • Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable) • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor About Penske Logistics Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing and supply chain management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. Requirements
Candidates must have at least 4 years of warehouse experience and the ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment. Proficiency in basic computer skills and the ability to lead a small team are required.
