Job Description
Employer: IPM Foods The Material Handler is responsible fo r the accurate and safe movement of all materials, ingredients, and packaging throughout the facility, maintaining inventory integrity and supporting all production and warehouse departments. Key Responsibilities ●Receive and ship trucks using established processes. ●Move materials, ingredients, and packaging accurately throughout the facility. ●Scan and record all material movements in the ERP or WMS system. ●Label materials, record locations, and assist with inventory and cycle counts. ●Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment. ●Follow all warehouse safety, GMP, and food safety requirements. Qualifications ●Experience working in a warehouse setting or logistics; experience safely operating material handling equipment preferred. ●Must be able to work well in a team environment. ●Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English and work independently with little guidance. ●Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management software. ●Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends. Physical Requirements ●Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; ability to bend and lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs. ●Ability to pull, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, and perform extensive walking throughout the shift. ●Ability to reach with hands and arms for long periods. 1st shift
Requirements
Warehouse or logistics experience is sought, with safe operation of material-handling equipment preferred. Candidates must work well with a team, read and follow instructions in English, use computers and warehouse software, work flexible hours, and meet the role’s physical demands.
