Job Description
Employer: Venture Metals INC. Venture Metals + is a fast-growing, metal recycling company looking to grow our operations team with Forklift Operator at our Wills Point Plant. AM Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday Duties and Responsabilities: * Load and unload scrap metal materials, bales, bins, boxes, crates, etc. onto and from customer trailers, truck beds, bins and other cargo as needed. * Ensure a clean and orderly workplace; clean and prepare sites by removing debris and possible hazards. * Adhere to, evaluate and maintain proper service logs and and maintenance requirements. * Transfer all necessary materials from one place to another; pick up falling material during transfer. * Perform other duties as assigned in your area, such as sweep, clean, sort, etc.. Requirements: * OSHA/Safety certification preferred but not required. * Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. * Must be able to work in the US. * Scrap Metal/ waste recycle experience: preferred but not required. * Other assigned duties as needed. Working Conditions: * Outdoor position (under roofing) in all-weather environments: rain, snow, hot, cold. * Could be exposed to dust, fumes, high noise levels. * PPE will be required for all employees. PPE includes, safety glasses, hard hat, high visibility vest, ear plugs, gloves, steel/composite toed shoes or boots. Requirements
Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug screening and be authorized to work in the US. OSHA certification and experience in scrap metal or waste recycling are preferred but not required.
