Job Description
Employer: Surge Staffing Forklift Operator Pay: $18.00–$19.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM or 7:00 PM–5:00 AM Job Summary We are seeking experienced and dependable Forklift Operators to safely move, load, unload, and stage materials in a warehouse environment. Candidates should be comfortable operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts and working in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently Load and unload trucks and containers Move and stage products throughout the warehouse Transport materials to designated storage areas Assist with receiving and shipping activities Inspect products and materials for damage Maintain accurate inventory and material movement as needed Keep work areas clean and organized Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines Perform other warehouse duties as assigned Qualifications Previous forklift experience required Experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts preferred Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment Warehouse experience preferred Ability to lift and move materials as required Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Schedule & Pay 1st Shift: $18.00/hour — Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM 2nd Shift: $19.00/hour — Monday–Friday, 7:00 PM–5:00 AM Full-Time IND2
Requirements
Candidates must have previous forklift experience and the ability to operate both stand-up and sit-down equipment. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the physical ability to move materials are required for this role.
