Summary We are looking for a Forklift Operator for our Long Beach facility. This is a full-time, fully on-site union position, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, with possible overtime. Job description * Ability to operate a forklift to load and unload items * Ability to work in a team environment, listen to directions, and execute instructions * Ability to remove cable from electrical utility wheels with help of semi-automated de-reeling machine * Ability to count and fill out check list for inventory purposes * Sweeping area to keep clean and free of clutter or debris * Working safely and adhering to company safety procedures * Ability to continuously stand or walk. * Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently. * Ability to lift 40 lbs. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements
Candidates should be able to operate a forklift, work cooperatively, follow directions, and complete inventory tasks. The role requires frequent standing or walking, bending, squatting, stair climbing, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
