Employer: Surge Staffing Forklift Operator – Manufacturing & Warehouse Pay Rate: 1st Shift: $19.00 per hour 2nd Shift: $19.50 per hour 3rd Shift: $19.50 per hour Location: Imlay City, MI Job Summary We are hiring dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join a manufacturing and warehouse team in Imlay City, MI. This position is responsible for safely moving raw materials and finished products throughout the facility while supporting daily production and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has previous forklift experience, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role may also involve assisting with production equipment, material handling, rework, and general housekeeping. Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to transport, move, and stage raw materials and finished products. Load, unload, and organize materials throughout the facility. Supply production areas with necessary materials to maintain workflow. Assist with down stacking, product rework, and material handling activities. Operate production machinery as needed. Maintain an organized and clean work area. Follow all workplace safety procedures and company guidelines. Perform additional warehouse and production duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous forklift operating experience preferred. Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment. Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
