Employer: Jennmar Forklift Operator/Fabrication Shop Laborer (Forklift Experience Required) Starting at $20.00+/hr + Overtime Opportunities If you are looking to get your foot in the door with a company that invests in your growth, this role offers hands-on experience, steady hours, and the chance to build valuable skills, with overtime opportunities. Essential Duties and Functions: * Safely and efficiently operate a forklift within designated guidelines * Load and unload materials from trucks * Transport materials across the facility in a safe, organized manner * Inspect equipment to ensure safe operation * Assist with general shop operations and maintenance tasks * Maintain awareness and take action to prevent hazards * Demonstrate reliable and consistent attendance * Building forms and bending rebar to specifications * Shop yard maintenance * Small equipment operations (Dozers and forklifts) Qualifications: * MUST HAVE previous forklift experience * Strong desire to learn new responsibilities and grow with the company * Ability to work independently with a safety-focused attitude * Reliable performance, punctuality, and attendance * Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed * Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check Work Environment: * Exposure to machinery, outdoor weather conditions, and vibration * Frequent wet or humid conditions; loud work environment * Typical schedule: 8–12 hour shifts, 5–7 days/week during peak season; occasional night work Physical Requirements: * Frequent walking, standing, sitting, and reaching (waist to shoulder height) * Occasional lifting/pushing/pulling 50–75 lbs * Occasional bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing * Ability to maintain required vision (close, distance, depth perception) JENNMAR Services, our employees are our most important assets and is committed to them with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits plan, including 401(k). Requirements
Candidates must have previous forklift experience and the ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 75 lbs. A strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and the ability to pass a drug and background screening are required.
