Job Description
Employer: InterChange Group, Inc. About the role Warehouse Location: Harrisonburg, VA Warehouse: ICCS, Black Stripe Compensation: $19.15 to $22.90 / hour Work Hours Available: 12 Hrs. Day Shift - 5:00 am - 5:00 pm *** Rotating Shift, Work Every other Weekend *** What you'll do Promote safe work environment through personal actions Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient manner Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage. Take inventory as needed Direct product to correct area in warehouse Clear work area of loose wood and plastic, sweep area as needed Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor Other duties as assigned Qualifications Prefer 1 year of Forklift experience (specific standup or sit down) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment but not mandatory. Training will be provided. Familiarity with RFID Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems High school diploma or GED equivalent Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred Preferred Skills Strong teamwork skills Self-motivator Must be able to work overtime, days and/or evenings, and weekends Ability to read numbers and labels Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines Ability to safety lift up to 60 lbs. frequently **Pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical are required** **All applicants must complete an application to be considered. Requirements
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and preferably one year of forklift experience, though training is provided. Applicants must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and pass pre-employment background, drug, and physical screenings.
