Job Description
Employer: Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc. We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in a freezer environment. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and staging product while maintaining accurate inventory and following company safety procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES * Receive and verify inbound product * Store and organize product in freezer warehouse using proper rotation (FIFO) * Pick and stage orders as required * Operate forklifts and loading equipment safely * Assist with loading/unloading trailers * Follow all safety policies and perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS * Forklift experience preferred; must obtain company certification (including high-lift certification) * Ability to follow directions and work independently * Basic math, reading, and communication skills * Strong teamwork and time management skills * Ability to climb stairs/ladders * Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed * Bilingual Spanish/English skills are encouraged but not required. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
