Qualifications SUMMARY: This position is responsible for operating a forklift in our alternative engineered fuel facility in Gray Court, SC, second shift. Job Duties: 1. Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner. 2. Monitors equipment assigned to the area and notifies the supervisor of major/minor issues and breakdowns 3. Responsible for the unloading and loading of wastes in conformance to company rules and regulations 4. Offloads and Check-in inbound waste streams 5. Must perform daily PM and inspections on operating equipment 6. Load, unload waste safely in accordance with Company, federal, state, and local regulations/rules 7. Operate a fork truck with attachments 8. Check for inconsistencies with manifested types and quantities with actual containers received in accordance with Company rules and regulations 9. Use proper equipment to remove samples of materials for analysis and compatibility checks 10. Responsible for keeping work areas, walls, pit drain, and floor in a clean and safe condition 11. Understand Coding and labeling systems to handle and manage containers 12. Position handles materials and will often require the use of PPE: Boots, Gloves, Suits, Eye/Ear Protection, and Respirator 13. Shovels, sweeps, and cleans the area in which they are assigned periodically throughout the day 14. Any other duty assigned by the Plant Manager Requirements: 1-3 years of shipping receiving and warehouse experience Valid Drivers License Required High School Diploma/GED preferred Able to operate Forklift/heavy equipment Ability to work well with others Lift up to 75lbs Climbing/Balance/bending/stooping/crawling Standing/Sitting Pushing/Pulling Use of power tools
Requirements
Candidates should have 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, and warehouse experience along with a valid driver's license. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs is required.
