Position Summary: To be able to build loads in an orderly, safe, and time-efficient manner. Duties/Responsibilities: Wait on customers picking up products from the warehouse Replenish product in staging areas Organize product so trucks can be loaded efficiently Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned QualificationsEducation/Experience: High-School Diploma/GED Must be 18 years of age Previous Forklift experience is preferred Required Skills/Abilities: Communication Skills Dexterity Skills Must be able to learn all jobs on the dock Ability to operate a forklift Ability to obtain Chesterman Co. forklift certification Ability to work with minimal supervision Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers and to operate equipment Must have a current or prior forklift certification within the last 2 years Work Environment: Warehouse work environment. Temperature can be very hot and humid during the warmer months. May work extended days and hours to complete loading. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, reaching, reaching, sitting, kneeling and squatting Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus Ability to push/pull <75 lbs Ability to lift/carry <75 lbs Job Status: Full Time Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturdays. 5:00am-1:30pm or to completion of work assignment Pay: $20.00 per hour EOE
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old. Previous forklift experience and a current or prior forklift certification within the last two years are required.
