Job Description
Employer: Americhem International PA’s leading distributor of janitorial and office supplies is currently seeking a motivated employee to fulfill a position within our Altoona Distribution Department. What you’ll do: Delivery Driver to deliver to customer locations and unload at designated customer delivery areas Ensure customer satisfaction upon delivery of orders. Adhere to all DOT and safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Home EVERY NIGHT! This driver position requires a CDL A license with both Hazmat and Tankers Endorsement. You would be hauling 275/gallon totes of Ammonia (Corrosive 8) Altoona to Richmond, VA, along with making deliveries to one of our key customers in Claysburg, PA. These deliveries would be performed in a Day Cab with 45' trailer. This position would also require to make local straight truck deliveries within the greater Altoona/Western PA areas. Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid CDL A license with both Hazmat and Tankers endorsements. Applicants are expected to be familiar with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and capable of operating day cabs and straight trucks.
